IRANMEHR CLASSICAL ORCHESTRA is being evolved for future programs. Iranmehr is a semi classic orchestra wich mostely performe the vocal pieces .This orchestra (Semi Classic)* consist of standard group of five sections: strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion&Drams and Guitars .
Strings: 1st violins, 2nd violins, violas, cellos, double Basses
Woodwinds: flutes, oboes, clarinets

Percussion: timpani & Drams

Iranmehr Orchestra was founded in Tehran in the winter of 1996. By 1996 it was known by NADJVA (previos name).
Mohammad Vaferi and Reyhan Mehrzad (pianist and composser)evolved this orchestra with the new name -IRANMEHR-in the spring of 2003 and by the time they arranged a concert with the some poem of the famouse iranian poets "Nima Yushidj" and "Siavosh Kasraei" and movies old songs in the various universities of Iran. Other conductores also cooperated to composs :Arash Teymoorian and Ramin Behna.

Mohammad Vaferi was educated in Marin Engineering and got his way on the oceans for eight years on the ships. In the time as a singer studied singing under special attention of his teachers. His earliest schooling in song was under Master of Shapoor Rahimi who thought Iranian song. He latter attended the higher Classic and semi classic singing under master of Pari Zanganeh (opera singer and Winner of the Global Song Awards and the international Gold Medal) and Mohammad Nouri (popullar Classic singer).

He later attended to the "Lyrico Bariton" classical songs by various compossers. He consentrated to learn and perform new works, not just the well known Classical and Romantic works but also the more modern and semi classic 20th century works such as movies old songs. His first studio recording in Iran was in nearly 2002(The little Black Fish) was basis on famous child's story written by "Samad Behrangi " in "Bam Ahang "studio and published by "Ebtekare No" which got views of medias and reviewers on itself.

His next album, "Shout at the wind" followed much the same pattern and despite supported by his concerts tour but still has been stucked behind presides of culture ministry!

By the time of that all Iranian Classical Orchestras have majore problems to keep their activities they still try to keep alive and evolve their orchestra on it's way.In this situation they sustain the resistances and performed some duets with his singing teacher Pary Zanganeh published by the sweden culture and letter house in August.

'I've revamped my life again and again through generation of my next album.
Beyond of the suspended shouts in my songs is the fermention of my home history and simple people's life in operatic pop songs that may sometimes seems such an alouded whispers with my whole life events.' He said

* Nowadays a Semi Classical orchestra structure may consist of:Strings: !st violins, 2nd violins, violas, cellos, double bassesWoodwinds: flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoonsBrass: french horns, trumpetsGuitar: Base,Classic and leads Electric guitarsPercussion: timpani & DramsThe woodwinds and brass instruments are paired, a term known as double woodwinds and double brass respectively. Clarinets have also been added.Classical composers exploited the individual tone colours of instruments and they do not treat instruments interchangeably. A semi classical piece has greater variety and more rapid changes of tone colours. Each section of the semi classical orchestra had a special role. The strings were the most important section, with the first violins taking the melody most of the time and the lower strings providing an accompaniment. The woodwinds added contrasting tone colours and with gutars were often given melodic solosand brightness. Horns and trumpets brought power to loud passages and filled out the harmony, tough they do not usually play the main melody. Timpani and drams give more variety of dinamics form were used for rhythmic bite and emphasis. As a whole, the semi classical orchestra had developed into a flexible and colourful instrument to which composers could entrust their most powerful and todays dramatic musical conceptions.

  2. I also had the honor to hear Mr. Vaferi's wonderful voice live which in my idea is really magic and unique. I think he is well above many prevailing pop singers and deserves to stand much higher than where he is standing now. I wish all the best for this very capable vocalist of our country.

    PERO TEE XTRANO
